A change was made to the list serve I use for kidney cancer information. Waaaah!!!
Oh well, it's a work in progress...
Update: I went back in the site again and I'm still not a fan of the new format. I know I need to give it a chance, but it was so much easier to just read it in my email. I'm looking forward to a daily digest to be implemented which would work much better for me. Hope they add that feature soon because I hate scrolling through stuff!
I just tried that new Smart Patients that the Kidney-Onc list is switching over to and I don't like it - ended up deactivating my account after just a couple days. It just doesn't offer what the K-O list did for those of us not in treatment and who are just taking it day by day.
ReplyDeleteI work on the internet every day and I have to say that new Smart Patients site just makes it more complicated to get the information you want - and it really is a disadvantage for the users who are not accustomed to using the internet very much.
So - I'm sympathizing. Is it just the Kidney-Onc list moving in this new direction? Or is ACOR in general doing this?
I believe ACOR in general will be moving to Smart Patients. Improvements are being made to make it more user friendly, but I liked the simplicity of email. Since I work on a computer all day, the last thing I want to do is spend more time on one. I hope you are doing well, and thank you for keeping Dennis in your prayers!
